The Vin # is located on the left side of the frame just at the bottom of the
gas tank on the left side.
If u guys see this bike around town .... Please Call the police and call me
on my cell ASAP ... anytime
cell # 491-7487 u can call me 24/7 on my cell
It's already has been reported stolen this morning ....
Thanks Guys!!!
------------------------
Keep an eye out for this bike, there should be several in town. This is just me, but I'd try to talk to the biker riding the bike or follow him to wherever hes going, wait for him to park and then look when he/she is not around peep the VIN number. Im not sure why someone would steal a bike, but its not like its something you can really grab parts from like a car. But any help would be great. Attached is a photograph of his bike. I hope this helps Jun!

why steal a bike? because they're easy to steal.
Get two decently strong guys guys with a pickup truck and you can have a bike gone within a few minutes.
Also, parting out (a good condition) bike is easy as hell. As I'm sure you know just about everyone lays down a bike at some point in their riding career, and as such, are always looking for replacement parts.

I would, but being in a different state hurts that...besides, I'm at work and bored ;)
But seriously, I do hope you get it back or get compensated for it. Spoken w/ the insurance company yet?

did your bike have anything else that may distinguish it from other yellow gixxers?

only thing would be the way the license plate was positoned ....
The plate is always under the tale of the bike right below the brake and signal lights, but I had mine placed on the left lower side near the rear tire ... so u would have to read the plates up and down ... not left to right ....

ya .. hehe .. i thought that the frame was the only thing that i would get back ...
But the detective called me on my cell thursday afternoon and said that the bike was still in one peice just the ignition... lock for the gas tank and my rear cover was messed up ..
Then he askes me how fast the bike goes cuz the cops could not keep up with it ... they had to us the "Eye in the Sky" helicopters to track it down ...
They finaly cornerd the two guys on Sahara and Rainbow in one of the shoping ceneters .
Aparently the cops had been looking for these 2 guys for a long time ... They been steeling bikes for the past 4 months and finally got em ...
Hearing that they cought the basterds just makes me sooo damm happy!!! :righton: :righton: :righton:
