What Is Wrong Wit My Car?

ok so i ran my car against my 2 homies "240-T" and "lv-180".. im not surprised i got smoked by "lv-180"s car cuz his SR is modded like whoa.. but "240-T"s SR is basically identical to mine, swap done at tha same shop, both running turbo extension, downpipe, catback exhaust, "he has a hi flow cat". but everything else is jus lil differences. but why does he take me by 1 car all tha times?

only thing i could think of is maybe cuz i have AC and he doesnt...? i dunno if that makes a difference but its a possibility.

some shop said that my AC compressor is messed up, cuz you know that AC pulley thing where it has another pulley inside of it, and it only spinns when you turn on your AC. but mine spinns everytime i rev my car, then when i let go it slowly slows down and stop spinning. some say im losing power by that, could it be? and does anyone know wuts wrong wit it?

for some reason my rpm revs slower compair to other SR's... wut could tha problem be?

A/C really only sucks power when it's running. The compressor is clutched, so unless it's engaged it's not causing a drag on the belts.

My guess, his engine is probably just in a bit better shape than yours, his wastegate spring could be slightly more worn (resulting in imperceptibly higher boost), or he could just be a better driver, etc. There are any of a number of reasons that could be possible.

All cars are not identical, you should know that ;)

If you took two brand new identical in every way cars and dyno'd them you would invariably get different results every single time.

yeah.. could be the driver..

i raced my S14 against my hommie's S13.. he pulls on me but i catch up in 4th.. when we switched cars.. i just take him and he cant keep up.. till i hit 115 <_<
