As the title says, drift day 17 (put on by Club4AG) is being held June 26th out at california speedway in irwindale (about 4 hours away from here).
Cost is $100, you get 6 hours of practice time (9-3), and then there's an amateur competition after that. To add to it, they have the US D1 drivers there to ride along and give instruction, etc. Everyone I've talked to who has gone before said it's an absolute blast and worth every penny.
So, anyone want to go? I was thinking of maybe driving out friday afternoon, being there for the event saturday, and either heading back to vegas saturday night or sunday mid-day (depending on if we want to stay to watch the real competition and demonstrations on sunday or not). It shouldn't be too expensive if a few people come and we all split a hotel room.
Also, it happens to be the same weekend as the socal240sx.org summer meet :)
