I believe discount is the only local place (aside from small shops) that carry falken tires.
Just wait...they're worth it. Failing that, Kumho MX's come close, but not quite :)

azenis sports ? those arent the only tires in the world... I actually prefer dunlop fm901s over the azenis sports. Are you like gonna do that autocross or something what do you need azenis for? or are you trying to find the st115s Im assuming the sports though since you cant get them and there is a falken wherehouse in town so Id say buy something else! There is a wide variety of tires out there and I would never buy azenis I used them for a while there are too many tires I like just as much with twice the tread life if not more for the same money.

drifting = cheapest tires you can find unless you feel that there is some overwhelming need for azenis (hint: no offense, but you're not good enough that you'll need azenis all around).
My suggestion, go with something cheap and mildy grippy (FM901, Ecsta MX, AVS-ES100) up front, and put whatever you can get dirt cheap in back.

you can go to "lanteras" and buy cheapo tires for like 20 bucks installed on your rims. when theres a drift day going on, thats what i would use at the track and so far theyve been the best at learning drifting on. lennon uses them once in a while and his car isnt a KA like mine and he does really well on them believe it or not. on some past videos i believe the friday before the very last drift event here from vegasdrift i posted a video and lennon was using crappo-tires that night and he was able to pull off some great runs. so yea, you dont need to spend hundreds on good tires to produce some good drifting, as far as i've seen.

Its not that you dont want a good tire to drift on... you want consistancy when you drift but azenis has such a soft compound and so little tread life if you are actually able to drift on them they wont last long.... I have an sr with some mods and I cant even break loose my fm901s....

azenis are actually a good tire to have in front and back for drifting as (believe it or not) you need a certain amount of grip in the rear for drifting as well...having too much slip in the rear cause the back end to over take the front of the car too easily and will not allow you to gain any speed what so ever in turns...even on a KA its good to run azenis in the rear...alot of the AE86 guys run em in the back...junkyard tires are junkyard tires...its hard to get performance period out of em...its a bit more expensive to run azenis all around for drift...but you pay the price for performance sometimes
