I just finished my dash, didn't come out as good as I had hoped but hey what can u do. The bondo in the cracks didnt really work, the dash raised up around the cracks forming peaks even though the cracks are filled, u can see them. I sprayed the whole thing with bedliner. The Ac vents I covered with fiberglass, and then made a gauge pod for the center vent. The pod is also angled toward the driver for easier view. Here it is with the gauges installed, my new blitz I color boost controller, turbo timer and stereo. I am pretty happy with it, let the bashing commence...LOL

huh? i really don't think your dash will come to mind when looking at mine...

why are you concerned with what people think...?

all I really cared about was the gauge pod and no ac vents, mine is a track car only looks are not important to me, a functional gauge pod and no non functional ac vents...
the whle thing cost me about $20 bucks including the bed liner, fiberglass, I had the bondo... I didn't want to spend much.

couldn't you have just removed the old upholstery instead of bonding the cracks or does the upholstery prevent this in some way?
the glassed vents are pretty neat.

i am sure u could, but that was a lot of extra work. There is a thread on zilvia.net about filling the cracks with super glue and backing soda, would have worked better, but that post came up on 12-31-8 like three days after I bondoed mine. oh well, I like it. and cost almost nothing, very little time too.
