MTV approached us for wheels for the show, and honestly it's all about what the kid wanted.

According to MTV, it was 1) fix the car by the end of the year or else parents were going to give the car away, and 2) he wanted something that resembled a car from the video game...

Some parts are top notch, others was just a matter of slapping things on the car for sake of having it on the car. I warned MTV about fitment issues and offset but their main criteria was "18" wheels and 414 bolt pattern", so I had no choice but to accomidate them with the crappy offset.

giovanna rims it is!!!!
They used some 18" 5Zigen's with a bad offset due to the 4x114.3 pattern.

The guy who posted that info on Zilvia works for 5Zigen USA...I believe he's with the marketing department. Either way, it's because of his pushing that they released the 17x7/17x8 +35 combo here for S13's :)

lol i seen the commercial for it lol the 240 has sparco seat that fool just got in it just for the stuff, He probobyl just ripped a couple of wires and striped the inside and sent the video in with som Bs story about his car is broke and they picked him

The show is a joke, really, like Americans Funniest Home Videos or some shit. Everyone who takes it seriously needs to step back and re-examine the show and its purpose.
In this case the purpose was to make a Video Game Car. Everyone got what they wanted. MTV got a show, the kid got $10,000 worth of FREE stuff, and I laughed so hard I drooled on my keyboard.
