400 wheel horse power. think twice before you post that and try to tell people that a red top is 400 "wheel hp" with simple bolt ons. id say 230 maybe. still is fast as ball, and looks good so dont get mad just change your title.

According to his YouTube Info:
Right hand drive 180sx s13 aka USDM 240sx with mild mods to sr20det, brakes, and suspension. Parts includes garrett gt2871 turbo, apexi power fc, apexi gt exhaust, je pistons, ported head, greddy metal head gasket, arp studs and bolts, greddy valves, springs, rocker stoppers, greddy fmic, tomei 272 cams, nismo 740cc injectors, z32 maf, walbro 255lb fuel pump, exedy hyper single clutch and lighten flywheel, nismo short shifter, megan manifold and downpipe...
Lots of boost and high octane could reach 400 with this setup.

yeah, 400 is definitely possible whit this setup. how are the 272's with the 2871 (powerbandwise)? are you still running hydraulic lifters?
i had always heard that this was a bit of a mismatch and that the turbo would crap out well before the range of the cams. resulting in kind of a small, peaky powerband.
also i guess im technically a renoian or whatever. just definitely not from reno.

hi there, when i got it tuned at 14-15 psi, i was making 315. at 18-19 lbs, i should be making 350 with a better tune... i know my cams might be too big or the turbo is not big enough, but i am planning to make 400 when i have enough money. lol i have everything setup for 400 and all i have to do is change the turbo. i plan on getting a hks t65 and hks manifold when i can afford it. sorry to offend anyone if my claim is 400whp, but i didn't say that my car was making that much. it's JUST a screen name. lol:rolleyes:

get a twinscroll full-race manifold. way more dope than hks and its made in the usa!
they even have a new gen manifold out with t4 flange and dual wastegates, baller.
its probably cheaper too.

btw i wasnt trying to say that your setup was bad or anything, i was just asking.

no offense taken... i know that my cams are big, but i planned on changing the turbo later, so i wouldn't have to do any more work. lol it has good power, but i think with a bigger turbo, it will have more power at high end and more lag at low end. i will look into that manifold when i am ready. sounds like you are in reno, like reno95240sx!! that's cool, cause i just move here from sac.
