We're going to follow Club240.com's guidelines when it comes to buying/selling on the forum. Please follow the guidelines below on how to sell or ask for an item. Use it like a TEMPLATE:
ITEM:*
DESCRIPTION:*
PRICE:*
SHIPPING:
PICTURES: * (when selling, provide images asap)
CONTACT INFORMATION:*
LOCATION:
BEST CONTACT METHOD:
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
To indicate that you're offering an object for free, use..
Subject: FREE: *item name here*
Also, when you 'want to buy' something please post the subject like this:
Subject: WTB: *item name here*
When wanting to 'sell' something please post the subject as so:
Subject: FS: *item name here*
But as long as we know something is for sale or wanted in the subject line, you can do it freehand without following the subject line guideline (ex: I want a MAF sensor adapter for my S13 or I'm selling my HKS air filter for an S14 240sx). But you must however follow the body guidelines listed in CAPS above. Failure to follow these rules will result in a deletion of the post . You have exactly one week (7 days) to edit your topic to follow the guidelines, thats when we'll delete it. Thanks and good luck! :righton:
12/5/2004:
No one is allowed to reply in the CLASSIFIEDS forums.
If you need to contact the seller(s), please use the PM feature or EMAIL.
12/7/2004:
Re-enabled reply feature, as long as the members behave in a just and respectful manner, it will stay this way, otherwise BAN and/or we disable it again.
8/31/2007:
New FS Forum Moderator: Dvs1 aka Devin, appointed FS Forum Moderator
New rules implemented:
- No price policing (you are not allowed to say if a price is too high, too low or where you can find it for less).
- Photos are semi-mandatory in ads (you must provide a photo of things you are trying to sell, hard for some, easier for others, but you must make an attempt to do so)
- YOU MUST FOLLOW THE TEMPLATE as stated above (ones in *asterisk are mandatory).
- Under no circumstances can you post negative remarks about an item being for sale (this makes it unfair for the seller).
- If you notice your thread has been deleted or edited in anyway, it is because you did not follow the rules listed above (so make sure you follow them!!)
