Welcome.
What do you mean by conversion? Do you mean like s14/s15/silvia front end and some stupid rear end swap? Or are you putting on aero, like bmagic / version select / origin / etc...?

silvia front.... dont know abou the rear yet as the one on it right now is a lil beat up. what do u mean by "some stupid rear end swap" so i can stay away from that? whats a good recommendation for coilovers that wont rape my wallet? any good things from megan racing coilovers?? thanks!

i think he meant putting something other than a '240sx' rear end in a 240sx, like molding and shit.

i mean, don't try sticking an r32/r33 rear end on a 240, that shit is retarded, or any skyline front end on a car *barf*.
The bmagic kit (for silvia front end) is a pretty nice kit, all the kits come with front bumper/side skirts/rear bumper.
As far as coilovers I'd look into KTS (splparts), Stance (lots of places), Powered By Max, or Megan Racing coilovers. Obviously the best of the bunch is KTS/Stance/Powered By Max, Megan is cheaper but they are not anywhere near the quality.

thanks for the coilover recommendations guys!! gonna do some research on them and debate on it a lil. sorry, i dont know what the KA is truthfully. as for the body, i dont think id do anything to kill the car. hopefully i can keep it as simple as possible. ive kept my subie as simple and clean as possible. :) thanks for the great welcome, hopefully ill have my 240 out soon enough. i know this is a noob question, but what are the basic beginning mods to free up some power?

intake, exhaust, headers
but i'll say save your money since bolt-ons with a n/a ka aren't really worth it imo.
yes, i have an injen intake.. but only because i got it off a friend for $40

the KA is part of the trade for the SR.sorry guys or i would.i was more asking how i could free power for the SR. I wanna see if i can get as close to my subie with less funds(subie mods are hella expensive!).

Welcome. congrats on getting a 240SX
(subie mods are hella expensive!).
Don't underestimate the prices of fixing up an almost 20 year old car. Any project car is expensive.
The amount of money you probably spent on your subie....towards the SR; will probably be faster than your subie.

yea, thats a tru statement, any project will eventually be expensive!! but having a 20 year old car means theres an abundance of parts out there and lots of people selling parts :) gonna be a fun project and a great car to mess around with and practice some rear wheeled driving!!
