My Poor Sick 240 ....

Well .. so far ... i replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires , cleaned the maf , checked my ecu for codes , checked my fueses ....

It will crank , has spark and good compression on the cylinders .... might be a fuel problem but not sure how to check it out ....


Was gonna buy another motor but someone offered him better price and he had the cash right there so he sold it to him instead ... so now ima try and get this motor to run again .... ;)

wow,, that suks u didnt get the deal with the ka24de,
btw, could it be your fuel injectors?
ohh ya check your tank do you have FUEL?? :P jk

no :no: .. some one offered 1100 for it ... I cant go that high ... so he sold it to him :( ...

I bout a noid tester ... that thing that you plug into the wire that connects to the fuel injecter .... looks ok .. but how would you check the injecter itself?

mmmmm,, dont know i would just replace them, i might get some scrap parts out of my ka24e when i get the other wrecked ka24e,

well im buying a ka24e with good mt tranny for 300 it got a really bad hit
but if you have a ka24de ill probly cosinder on buyin it

did you swap motors? did you put the fuel lines on backwards? Thats what i did last time.

no , this is still the stock motor ... its a ka24e ... gonna repalce the injectors next ... if that dont work i guess ima check the inside of the motor , like timing gears i guess ... :(

ohhh ... and sometimes , when im cranking the motor a weird sound comes from the motor like a buzzing sound ..... :o
