this highly anticipated album has been given negative feedbacks by most of the online community...
in this case, i have to agree. this new album has been deeply anticipated by many including myself and upon purchasing and listening to this album, i have to say, i'm very dissapointed and i want my money back. mos def is probably the most proficient hip-hop artists to ever glaze the face of a microphone, but this album does not represent that. it sounds like he put this thing together in a few hours, took a nice cover shot and called it a day. i have to however give it to him for his attempt to raise the level of hip-hop, but this attempt (to me at least) was a failure. if you really want something bump, cop wordsworth's 'mirror music'. otherwise, listening to 'the new danger' is like chewing a stick of gum and throwing it away after the flavor runs. but the difference is, the stick of gum will actually give you flavor, this album wont. 1/7 dont cop this.
