Is the fuel pump powering up? Could be a dead fuel pump relay.

is there anyways i can check the relay like with a volt meter or something?

and also i forgot to mention ... when the motor is cranking .... sometime there is a very load noise ... like a buzzing noise while im cranking the motor ..... is that a serious problem? ;)

Put the key into the ON position, then use a DVM/Multimeter to check voltage back at the fuel pump. If you remove the top cover you'll see the plug going to the pump, should be 4 wires iirc.

Check them one at a time and ground against the chassis. One of the 4 wires should show +12v with the key on. If it doesn't, your fuel pump relay is dead.

You mean power at the pump, so the relay is OK.

I'd say you should start by hooking up a fuel pressure gauge to make sure you're actually getting fuel up to the front of the car.

You mentioned in your first post that you're getting spark, have compression, etc., so verifying you've got fuel is the next logical step.

What engine do you have? I know that I had the same type of problem with my Sr20det and it turned out to be the MAFS. Just had to unscrew the little sensor thats attached to it and clean it up. Worked fine after that.

That is a pretty good deal. If you buy that engine make sure you go through it as much as you can afford to (gaskets, seals, comp. test). Sucks to get it in and find out that something is leaking or not right after the fact.
