I dont know about the sr but on the KA you can adjust the idle with the idel screw. all you do is disconnect the tps and adjust the screw to the idle you want and then you reconnect the tps. this might be the same for the sr. give it a try

the thing is, is that the car has been fine since ive had the swap done, and now about 3 days ago the idle has been VERY high, ranging anywhere from about 1000-2000 rpms and just seems very odd. first happened after actually pushing the car on the freeway, and as soon as i got to where i was going the idle was very high. ima try that though and see if that helps , thanks.

You might also want to try cleaning the throtle plate. It might be sticking due to carbon build up. just spary some carb cleaner on both sides and see if that helps.

Indeed. Also, just for the hell of it, clean the MAF. I was amazed at how much more "drivable" for lack of a better word my car became after thoroughly cleaning the MAF with electrical contact cleaner.
