Auto-x, June 13th

Well, as Joel/PEAS mentioned in the other thread, here's one about the upcoming auto-x event.

During the summer the Las Vegas SCCA runs a "summer series" at the Sunset Station Casino instead of out at the speedway. Generally the course is a bit smaller and a bit slower, and really favors cars that handle well (240sx what???) over those with brute power. It's also at night, which is cool because auto-x at night is fun, and you don't have to stand around in 110 degree weather.

Here is the summer schedule of events:
June 13th
June 27th
July 11th
July 25th
August 15th
August 29th

All of these events are at Sunset Station, With the gates/registration opening @ 5pm, and the runs starting @ 7pm.

I work at the galleria mall, so its right across the street and on sundays i work till 6... So ill head over there right after work :cool: anybody else coming??
and does anybody know how much it costs???

I'll probably swing by to watch and ride-along with friends, but I highly doubt I'll race/drive/whatever.

Something about paying $25 for 4-6 30sec runs (i.e.; 3 minutes max of seat time) just doesn't sit right with me, especially since next wednesday i'll be at fastlap and get 2+ hours of seat time for $60 :)

well, seeing as it's already passed ;)

Come to the drift event this friday @ LVMS. $30 to run, $10 for spectators.

it was alright. not as fun as the drift events they have at lvms, but its a track day nonetheless.
