Ok, well even though it's pretty far off let's use this thread to organize who is going. We need to know pretty soon since hotels are all fairly booked up anyhow...this is a HUGE event seeing as it's the first ever JGTC race in the united states.

Info:
website - www.jgtcusa.net
cost - $50 for both days
date - december 18th/19th (saturday/sunday)

The plan is to leave mid-day on Friday December 17th. Maybe head down to the long beach area and kick around, see super autobacs, cruise PCH in laguna (depending on what cars get driven).

The race is the 18th/19th, then head back to Las Vegas the night of Sunday the 19th.

Not sure on hotel costs so far, but the more go the cheaper it gets. Ideally we should bring sleeping bags that way we only need to get 1 hotel room.

Add your name to the list if you are 100% going to go.

Doug will be collecting money. He will be placing the order Nov. 1st. If we order as a group you can save a few bucks. They want $2.50 per order and $6.00 to ship tickets. So if you ordered by yourself it would cost you $58.50. Order as a group and pay $52.00. Get the money to me, JJ, or Doug and you will be on the list.

I'll collect the money and order as a group and we can save a few bucks.

I will be ordering Nov. 1st (think that is early enough?)

Matt you wanna take care of the room? Anywhere is fine. There is a La Quinta in San Bernadino.

December 19th ticket sales have been suspended

Due to recent negotiations, we have been asked to hold our event on December 19th at Fontana Speedway. As a result, Regular, VIP, and Combo ticket sales for the 19th have been suspended. If you have already purchased one of these tickets, your money will be refunded. More information will be released as details become available.

That's referring to ticketing for the D1 Event.

The JGTC weekend tickets are still the same price as before, $35 for 1 day or $50 for the whole weekend.

D1 and JGTC Join Powers
D1 and JGTC have combined their efforts for one special event on the 19th of Dec to bring you the most powerful exhibition of racing possible. Located now in Fontana at the California Speedway the US vs. Japan Drift Battle will take place on schedule, there will be more seating available and a lot more access to the best of what the Japanese motor sport world has to offer. We’ll see you there for this insane unprecedented drift battle!

It means that they've moved the D1 event to the same location/weekend/venue as the JGTC event. They'll be running them at the same time.

They basically are giving refunds to everyone who had purcahsed D1 tickets prior since now to see the D1 event you basically just buy tickets to the JGTC event.

Make sense?

Just so you know, we're (doug, james, myself) going to carpool there in my soon to be truck, so you're more than welcome to ride w/ us.

Besides, the more people, the less gas costs per person :)
