Sup guys I just moved here from Redondo Beach, Ca. just though I'd introduce myself.
I'm the orignal owner of a 1993 240sx hatchback, I got it brand new when I was in high school but I had to make monthly payments so it kept me broke until I finally paid it off (I'm still broke). It's stock  and I don't plan on making any other modifications to it. Seriously though my setup is probably similar to most of yours with the exception of brands of bov's, fmic, exhaust, suspension etc.
I'd like to go to a meet or bbq when you guys set something up cause I'd like to make some new friends that share the same interest as I do.

lol your car is stock but it's similar to most of cars people have on here? lol I'd hope so since this is nv240sx... but the only way your ride could be similar to the majority of people on this forum is if you needed $1.25 or a bus pass to ride...

Its not good to advertise your parts on a forum b/c you never know who's looking at it.I was just wondering .........What do you do with your car Auto-x, Drift, drag, or hard park? but welcome to the forum

Not worried about people knowing what I have cause most will probably never see it only because it's a weekend car that doesn't see too much daily driving. I did some auto-x but not for too long (2 years) and I've been drifting since I had the engine put in so for about 4 or so years I guess. I don't have too much track time under my belt because of school and work but I try and get as much as possible so I'm sure ?some? of you can relate.
Since your meets are on a weekday I'm fo sho people aren't going to be seeing my car anytime soon because I work graveyard and only off on the weekends so I guess at a local event or the next bbq.

Welcome to the site.
"Recently tuned by Shawn @ Church Automotive Testing in Torrance, Ca." - Shawn does some very nice tuning that I've seen. He's worked with some of my friends from the Fresno area and they have nothing but great things to say about him.
Again, welcome.

wtf dd33 on the same day as topdrift round 3? and it's the last fd qaulifier of the year... Wow I got to compete in the pro am drift series next year... Every year it's that much more of a pain in the ass to get it...

07-25-2006, 04:00 PM
i think its stupid... i mean of you are a privateer and yes you can qualify for the FD series... which is what the 5th round already? plus the next events will be on eastcoast... so yea, i thinkg its kinda lame...
i'm running top 10 in points for topdrift and i'm pretty sure after HTM i will be far behind... but for me the porpose of going is pushing my skill... and i kinda think that we have our "OWN LITTLE FD" going on... hehehehe!

As you said mike, all I'm doing is trying to push my skill as well. I just don't want to pay for an event with less seat time . When you can pay the same price for an event withmore seat time and get more practice . Plus I'm not good enough to run HTM as a comp. need more practice.

yeah what your doing makes more sense... but for me I'm gonna be at the htm smashin faces in!

I'm only planning on doing the local events cause I don't like having my car outside overnight. As you can tell this is my baby and I worked hard and have done some things I don't like to talk about for my car (LOL)........BTW is anyone planning on holding a local event?
I'll also be going to HIN "NightShift" in September and I know this is a little advance but how about we set up something where we all meet at a mutual place?
