sup all tha NV 240 loverz this is jon and im new to this forum,
so plz look out for me and ill do mah best to do tha same...
well lets say i've been wanting a 240 fast back for years, and my dream recently came true. i own a prime black 89 240 fast back (bone stock), after i baught tha car i took it down to cali's R & D factory (wonder if anybody heard of em?) for a red top swap.

the 240's condition isnt that fresh, alot needs to be replaced. and now im working on it. im getting some brembo's to replace my stock rotors (cuz tha stock rotors are gone) alotta ppl suggested me to get z32's instead, but my budget is tight right now, and i kinda got an aight deal on tha brembo's (whole package all 4 wheels for $360.. wut yall think?!) anywaiz thats just tha beginning. A WHOLE LOT needs to be done too.

heres some questions i need help wit.. plz.

1. when im driving in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and revved to 3500rpm, i could hear something near my BOV making noises as if it was blowing off, which shouldnt cuz i aint let go tha gas or anything. and i dont have a boost gauge to see if my boosting is going wrong. so can anyone tell me whats wit it?!

2. im running a Greddy turbo extension, HKS down pipe, and stock catback system, would it be cuz my air flow aint running smooth thats why its making that blow off noise? im thinking about getting some Apex N1 Dual Pipe exhaust, does anyone know where i can get those? (it'll be best if i can pick it up in LV)

3. how do i do tha sleepy eye? someone has told me b4 about cutting a brown wire, but thats not enough info cuz i've looked through it and i couldnt find any brown wire. i need better info if anyone could provide me. thanx. and im also looking for some yellow fog light "kinda like those stock yellow fog lights that comes on tha lexus GS, LS or wutnot. anyone know where i can find them?

well thats enough questions from me, i should cut this short b4 i get banned.. lol jk
anywaiz thanx for any replies. just holla*

the BOV will make noise as the turbo is spooling up given not ALL the air from your turbo is going into yer intake...my BOV does the same thing...also what you might be hearing is yer air intake for the turbo

the exhaust kit you want can be had pretty easily...jspec.com carries em...try phase2motortrend.com as well...if you want it local order one thru me or thru trevtec (www.trevtec.com)

yer sleepy eye look can be done with a little controller device that can be purchased for like 50 bux...i forgot what its called at the moment but i know a few of the guys on here have em

1 - Sounds to me like your BOV is leaking. What BOV are you using? It's probably just a matter of tightening the set screw (if it's a Greddy) or adding a few washers (for an SSQV), etc...

2 - The stock cat-back truly isn't a horrible restriction, but the stock cat is. By the time the exhaust gas has passed the downpipe the velocity is low enough that it really isn't going to be affected by a smaller area to flow through. I'd say just go to a local exhaust shop (performance exhaust, etc...), since having a custom exhaust made up is way cheaper than buying a premade setup for $450+. If you go there and have them weld up 3" piping and a muffler of your choice it'll be around $250 or so. Also, don't worry about the fact that a muffler shop will use press-bent piping instead of mandrel bend. 3" piping flows enough exhaust gas for about 450+ whp, so you're really not losing anything by not having mandrel bent piping.

3 - I know that there's a free way to do the sleepy-eyes thing...I'll see if I Can find it. Otherwise the $50 or so box is called the Pivot RHM or something like that.

u can just always disconnect the motor for the flippies and set em where u want via the little adjustment knob next to the light
