Hey Gang,
I've got the Battle Version Tension rods and RUCA's on my car now. Due to some "technical" difficulties, ie: RUSTED bolts, i had to replace the front mounts as well so i opted to go with the Nismo Powerbrace.
Installation was very straight forward, just unbolt and replace. I highly recommend soaking your bolts for about a week ahead if you plan to do this and your car has a bit of undercarriage rust as mine does.
After installation and an alignment, I noticed a HUGE difference in the handling of the car. Braking was straighter (less side pull) and turning was sharper (quicker turn in). Granted, i had the stock Tension rods that had broken and the goo was leaking everywhere, so this was a tremendous improvement.
I decided to go with the Battle Version parts based on recommendations by my friends who are heavy into the drift scene in Hawaii. I considered Cusco, Kazama, and others, but in the end, after seeing the Battle Version parts, they are VERY strong compared to others and use teflon lined joints to reduce wear and prevent squeaking and crunching that is common with lesser heim joints.
I hope this may provide some insight into this product. If anyone has questions about these, please PM me for more info.
Thanks to Gowayne and Armando for the install!
