Our first official NV240SX Club BBQ!

Where: Paradise Park ( 4770 Harrison Dr Las Vegas, NV 89121-5563 )
Who: For our members and non-members. Bring your 240SXs and bring you're friends! We don't discourage other car's to chilling with us, come along, you all are welcome!
Why: It's almost been a month since the club has began and what a way to get to know one another bu through a good ol' fashioned BBQ!

Pictures: We will be taking pictures of the everyone at the BBQ, so don't look too shabby :P. In addtion to this, we will be updating our main page's banner with a picture of all the 240SXs that show up that afternoon. So please bring your cars so that it may be showcased with in our website!

Other notes: Please bring at least $5 dollars to cover the food and beverages. Bring food if you can! We'll be selling NV240SX.org decals there as well and if you bring some good eatin', we might consider giving you one for free! Lastly, bring your manners and be courteous to one another. This is all about having fun leave the drama at home. We'll be updating this page with the time and place it will be held so please refer to it often! Other than that, we hope to see you all there!!!

Hey All,

We need to get on this soon. Sure today was like 60-70 degrees but 115 is gonna be here soon.

I love BBQ's. I love being the guy that cooks the whole time and gets smoke blown in his face all day and never gets a chance to eat. I cook a mean rib-eye.

We could head over to Paridise Park. McLeod and Tropicana (Trop & Eastern, Wal-Mart). There are BBQ's and enough parking for all. Volleyball courts & horse shoe pits also.

After it warms up a bit I vote for a Mt. Charleston Drive/Hike/BBQ trip.

Are we gona wait til we have like 10 people before we do this?

no no nto the 15h of may, i told you doug (i think) that i have a wedding to attend that saturday. i was talking to james and he made a good point about having it the day AFTER may 21st, after the next drift event. that way we can talk to all the people there at the event and tell em to hang out with us on saturday (and i can probably get that day off). dont do it on the 15th! :no:

Paradise Park also has a public pool, think its a dollar to get in.

Should we shoot for a noon lunch or afternoon dinner? It could be around 100 degrees. Paradise Park has some very nice big shade trees.

How about if like one or two people do the shopping for the big stuff (burgers, dogs, plates, charcol) and everyone else brings $5 and a side or drink?

This is just my idea. Let me know if anyone has a better idea.

the 21st is the second round of the speedway drifting series...the 22nd is the day were trying to have the bbq

im not sure what time we'll be meeting up, ill tell you what.
by may 22 early in the morning, we'll post the time here and where for sure.
we'll probably do it before but if we dont, for sure on may 22 morning it will be here.
try to come to the event with us, even say youre our pit crew
so that you'll save $1 at the entrance. plus we'll be bringing the decals there so bring money! well talk prices after they're done being made.

If this BBQ is like less then 10 people/cars we could do it at my apartment complex. Basically Sunset & Eastern.

They have a kick-ass pool / hot tub, BBQ area, BB court

or we can do the park thing

I was just thinking I might have some AZ crashing at my place anyway, maybe they will stick around for the BBQ?

I figured out a way to tell everybody. I'll be sending everyone on the message board an e-mail about it. Only people who are registered will receive an e-mail so check you e-mail address and correct it if its incorrect. I'll send one as soon as I confirm where it will take place and how much money you have to pitch in (car guys are always trapped for cash I know, but you can spare a measley 4-5 dollars for food :P). We'll try to send it out by this Sunday or Monday, but for sure before Friday. We'll include information like address, how much money to bring, time and date, etc. on the e-mail. I hope this helps everyone! :rolleyes:

The e-mails listed and registered in our forums will receive e-mails containing the information of everything before May 21. The bbq will take place however, for sure on May 22, Saturday!

It would easier to do the whole hang out with the cars at the park but it is easier to do the pool thing at the apartment.
