Has anyone had any issues with spring perches loosing on their coilovers? I had mine slip almost an 1/8th on an inch. I spent a good 10 minutes moving it all back in place. Any ideas? Could it be too much preload? Or could it possibly be being caused by the wheels being out of balance in the front causing some vibration? I am litterally having to tighten them about every other drive.
Any help would be appreciated.

They are supposed to lock together. Who knows maybe I am just tightening it wrong. I was going to yank the wheels off the front the other day and do it but one of my studs is stripped. As soon as that is done then I will take care if it.

Come to my house on friday when we install my engine.
I can take a look at it. At least remind me when you're over here and I can give the quick 3 minute lesson on suspension adjustment for coilovers :D

A quick update...I have not had the perches loosen on one side in about three days. The drivers side I have tightened once in the same amount of time...could they of needed to break in a little?

My guess would be that until the springs settle 100% (usually about 2-3 weeks) you're going to have to continue to tighten the upper spring perch so they don't smack around.
