Ok guys (and girls)..... whos all gonna be there toasting tires?? I was gonna be participating but do to the unfortunate circumstances that there are thiefs in this city, Ill just be in the passenger seat :(

my participation will be depending on my cash flow for that month. but i have a good feeling i'll be there ripping rubber with most of you :rolleyes:

HANKOOK PERFORMANCE TIRES DRIFTING SERIES
AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY – May 21, 2004

OFFICIAL RULES

Competitors must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Clothing must include long sleeves and full pants (no baggy clothes).

Full face helmet with Snell 200 rating must be worn during competition.

Race suits (if used) must have SFI rating.

Cars must not leak fluids while running.

Nitrous bottles must be removed before passing through tech.

Tires must be in good condition (No damage and no exposed belts).

Stock safety restraint systems must be employed.

If an aftermarket restraint system is employed the factory restraint system must be disabled.

Aftermarket restraint systems must bolt to the frame or roll-cage.

All decisions made by the technical inspectors and race directors are final.

Drivers must possess a valid NADA membership to compete in point series competition.

Drivers without NADA membership will be eligible to participate in the amateur solo trophy competition only.

Driver accepts responsibility for any damage to his/her vehicle.

No one under 16 permitted in pits. Under 18 must have completed parental consent form.

CLASSES
Amateur Solo - Open to street legal vehicles only. Limited to the first 30 Non-NADA members to enter.
Amateur drivers must attend mandatory orientation/driver’s meeting at 5:45 p.m. to participate.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS – MAY 21, 2004

4:30 p.m. - Race Gates Open / Tech Inspection begins
5:45 p.m.- Driver’s Meeting (Mandatory orientation for non-NADA members)
6 p.m. - Spectator Gates Open / Open Practice for all classes – 1 lap runs
9 p.m. - Amateur Solo Trophy Competition – 1 lap per car
9:20 p.m. - NADA Stock Qualifying (2 laps per car / Top 8 scores advance to Eliminations)
NADA Modified Qualifying (2 laps per car / Top 8 scores advance to Eliminations)
NADA Outlaw Qualifying (2 laps per car / Top 8 scores advance to Eliminations)
10 p.m.- NADA Stock Top 8 Competition (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Modified Top 8 Competition (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Outlaw Top 8 Competition (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Stock Final 4 (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Modified Final 4 (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Outlaw Final 4 (2 cars at a time – winner advances)
NADA Stock Championship
NADA Modified Championship

11:15 p.m. - Conclude Event

hell yeah, it was great to finally go out there with you guys. i'll join nada for the series #3 for sure.

:hithere: congrats to the az guys once again :P i hope i can go up on the next one, either in June or July. Depending if the car can even get past PHX, but we shall see. If not I go an watch :gotspam: Also eat some local food up there!!!!
