More Updates On My Car

I've officially ordered EVERYTHING I need to get my car together, now I play the waiting game.


Sitting on my floor:
ACT clutch disc
nismo motor mounts
nismo 740cc injectors (well, 2 are off @ AEM for testing)
random custom intake parts
bling bling kyokugen lug nuts ;)

Somewhere in the mail:
AEM EMS
my motor (!!!!)

Waiting to be shipped:
AEM wideband UEGO gauge
tial 38mm wastegate
garrett GT25/40R, .64 a/r turbine housing

Waiting on doug ;)
GReddy oil pan
GReddy RAS

Tentative date to get things installed is NEXT weekend, August 7th/8th. Depending on when stuff arrives though that might change.

Summary:
-new engine going in car to replace my other one destroyed out on the road course @ willow springs
-big shiny new turbo going in at the samte time
-standalone ECU going in to tune it all

End results:
aiming for 350rwhp. 350rwhp in a 2700lb car is pretty nasty :)

I'm hoping to break into the 11's on slicks, but I somehow don't think that will happen at LVMS unless I luck out and they prep the track amazingly well.

We'll see...i'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. As long as the car feels fast to me on the street that's good enough :)

They didn't...I'm friends with one of the EMS engineers ;)

I actually picked up a 30-1020 unit, which is meant for honda accords I believe. I'm actually going to bring it in to them on Thursday when I'm in California for work and they'll be changing the hardware inside to match that of a nissan box. I then just make myself a jumper harness, and bam, nissan EMS 2+ months from the release date!

Not too sure.

Right now I've got everything except for the turbo & wastegate, which are coming from full-race. That stuff should be here this week. I'm going to be in california for work thursday/friday, and while I'm there i'm stopping by AEM to get my EMS modded and hopefully pick up my injectors too (They have them for battery offset testing). I'm also waiting on my oil pan and RAS from doug (since his supplier sucks)

Basically after this weekend all I'm waiting for is my motor. I think I'll be getting everything put back in the car middle of next week, but we'll see :)

Yet more updates :)

My EMS is at AEM getting modded as I type. I'll be heading there this afternoon to pick it back up.

-sensors for the EMS (GM 3bar MAP and IAT sensors) will be at my house thursday.
-trick painless wiring 10 circuit fuseblock (to replace my ghetto one in the glovebox) will be in wednesday/thursday
-AEM wideband is shipping this afternoon, should be here mid-end of next week
-turbo/wastegate are shipping from full-race either monday or tuesday. will take 2 days to get to vegas.

Now all I need is MY GOD DAMN MOTOR!!!!!!@!!!@#!@#!!!!

If the guy I'm buying it from doesn't get off his ass and make sure it's picked up by the freight company by monday I swear I will fly up to san jose, kick him in the fucking nuts, take my money back, and then have the motor shipped just for good measure.
