These events are drift and grip right? I really want to hit it sideways, but unfortunately i only have one set of wheels and tires at this time.

Sorry, this event has been cancelled/postponed...due to short of funds...the initial start up fee's to get the track were by far cheap..but it was the add-ons that killed us...
$2200 for the entire track w/ marshall is cheap...then insurance ($850)...ambulance ($850)...corner workers ($800)...additional $500 for breaking up a weekend...and $5 per person wheterh you are a driver or spectator...plus misc expenses for supplies (cones/flags/walkie talkies/fire extinguishers/reflective vest/etc)

agreed, that is quite a bit of money. How many corner workers would be needed for the event?

we needed six corner workers minimum and we could not volunteer, the workers had to be experienced (reputable people) or from a track company...remember that this event was gonna be held in a real road course not really meant for drifting and that this is a "new" track (new management) and everything had to be in a formal business motif, everything had to be by the book and there is no such thing as cutting corners. Other tracks like buttonwillow/willow springs are more lenient since the drift scene is hella big there...in vegas it's still small...pahrump had told me that they will be offering an open paddock to be opened for "parking lot" events, but don't expect that to open anytime soon ( i am guessing around 5+ years or so)...i guess we are pretty much stuck onto parking lots...some guys on VD are waiting to get sanctioned from Justdrift or something and i have a few friends from www.ddnorcal.com, if we can tag along with them like as DriftDayVegas crew and use their corner workers/insurance/ambulance..then our events would look a lot more appealing
