woohoo...lots of new toys on the way :)

So far:
-GReddy oil pan and rocker arm stoppers (thanks to Doug/ICE Performance)
-tomei 740cc injectors
-new ACT clutch disc (keeping my old pressure plate since it looked OK)
-misc. custom intake parts
-Z32 maf/filter (may not use...have to decide)
-new SR20 :)
-front & rear main seals (may as well replace them while the engine is out)
-Nismo engine mounts

still to order:
-GT25/40R turbo
-Tial 38mm wastegate w/ flanges
-wideband o2 (either the sweet AEM gauge type one, or the PLX Devices M-300)

Now on to my dilemma:
What do I do for engine management? I can either go the AEM route...the only downside to this is the amount of time it will take me to properly tune. I hope I can get it done by the convention time, but you never know.

The other option is to have Scott Avoy (enthalpy, formerly w/ secret services in florida) do a ROM tune for me. His tunes kick ass, and as much as I hate the idea of ROM tunes...this will make sure the car is running pretty damn perfectly by the convention).

Yeah...it's not my first time tuning a standalone, so that's a benefit.

The downside is that the AEM + a wideband is triple the cost of just getting a ROM tune ;)

I'll definitely be posting on the board when it's time for the engine to go back in.

James, mando, JC, doug, and joel all helped get the engine out...i'd imagine we'll get the same # of ppl (or more :)) to put it back in.

if you want you can drive down to AZ and get it tuned at intense.

we are an authorized AEM tuners. and really good friends with the person who developed the ems. the same guy who tunes all the AEM EMS for all AEM sponsered drivers He drives out from cali so can to get help him tuning his own peronal car if that says anything. ^_^

the tuning rate is really expensive though. 2-300 an hour
