I should have done this almost two months ago...
My name is Jamie. I am almost 29 (damn I am getting old)
I have been into cars as long as I can remember. I have owned 13cars.
1. 69 datsun p/u
2. 84 ford tempo
3. 72 porsche 914
4. 79 vw scirocco
5. 72 porsche 914 (2)
6. 73 porsche 914 (3)
7. 84 honda prelude
8. 90 plymouth laser
9. 90 vw corrado
10. 90 vw corrado (2)
11. 90 honda civic si
12. 95 nissan 240sx (current car) Will more than likely NEVER sell.
13. 91 nissan pathfinder
Around 1994/95 the whole honda modifying thing really was starting to get built up. There were a couple of guys I worked with that were getting into it big time. One had a 93 civic coupe and the other had a 90 corrado. The civic was one of the first turbo civics I had seen. Keep in mind this was back in Colorado. The guy with the corrado was what really left an impression on me. One day I was able to take a quick ride in it and I was blown away by the acceleration of the car. At this point I knew I wanted to delve deeper in this "new" thing. I tried to modify my non turbo dsm which did not amount to much more than an intake.
On the first corrado I had a custom exhaust made and made my own intake and had the ecu chipped. On the second one I went with some neuspeed springs and a smaller pulley. Now it was about this time that I started to realize that corrados really are junk cars. Just too many issues. I bought my one and only civic which was just about as junky as the corrados. I had a lemon I determined. Either way I went with an intake and rs-r springs on it. About this time was when I aquired the 240. You can read about that long winded story in members rides.
My email address is ings175@yahoo.com and my cell is 496-5913. I am always up for a cruise or whatever. I live up on craig and decater. Take it easy.
