Ok What The Hell

i had my stock header off last night for unknown reasons and i had to take off that aluminum piping on the back side of the header that runs to my .....what looks like my intake manifold but i cant really see right there....so what is it? what is that damn tube/pipe....cause i cant get it rethreaded back in....so if its not to important im going to plug it up

your prolly better off trying to put it back on. you can block it off but youll run rich. but if you do want it off you have to take off the pipe from the back of the intake manifold then block it off with an EGR block-off plate but they dont make em for the dual cams. you could also just cap off the pipe at the headers side but then your gana have to cap of the hole on the headers itself too or eles your gana have a massive exhaust leak. if you cant catch thread you can just put in in there and the do what i did. i bought some muffler mender (MM) form auto zone and some aluminum exhaust wrap. i put some MM on the inside of the EGR pipe and then jsut put in on the headers then some more MM around the part where it threds then use dthe aluminum wrap to wrap around the part that suposed to be threded. it will look a lill something like this wheh your done.

thanks for the help i took off the intake side and put on the exhaust side first then the intake and i got it back on....what a pain in the ass
