i just watched it:
mini-review no spoilers:
not bad, no off the wall, crazy, lets-drag-a-car-sideways-so-it-looks-like-its-drifting crap. genuine drift action with a few 'stunts.' very few special effects that were ho-hum but not too hokey. acting was so-so, but not Freeway Speedway bad http://www.venturadistribution.com/new_rel...eway+Speedway+5 (http://www.venturadistribution.com/new_releases/serve/8072/Freeway+Speedway+5) (those who saw it know what im talking about). some of the scenes could have been done better but they condensed basically the entire first two tv series seasons into the movie. basically if your a fan of the series its an ok flick, nothing spectacular. there are lots of funny ass moments. oh yeah, the english subs sucked. took me about 10 minutes to figure out 'earthquake' meant 'shock absorbers'.

Oh man, the subs are horrendous. I stopped paying attention to the movie and just laughed at the horrible subs.

Also they changed the plot a little bit (different from the manga and anime versions) and made some character changes (for the worse in my opinion).
