the pure aloha festival is this weekend.. anyone up for going?

KVVU FOX5 and Valley Automall are proud sponsors of the 4th Annual Pure Aloha Festival, a unique event that allows Southern Nevada residents to TAKE 5 to CARE about two local charities and enjoy the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.

The three-day festival will include concerts, food, arts & crafts and demonstrations from the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands for the whole family with proceeds benefiting Girls and Boys Town of Nevada and Safe Nest Temporary ASsistance for Domestic Crisis.

The Pure Aloha Festival will be held at the Cannery Casino and Hotel (2121 E. Craig Road, North Las Vegas). The fun will kick off the evening of April 8th at 6 PM with a concert, "Da Big Hawaiian Bash III." The fun will continue Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th opening at 9 AM with events for the entire family. Attendees can experience the culture and traditions of Hawaii and the islands of Polynesia with food, clothing and art.

Admission to the daytime events is $4 (12 and older), $2 (3-11 and Senior Citizens 65+) and free for children under 3.

Tickets for evening concerts cost $20 in advance/$25 at the door and can be purchased at the front desk at the Cannery Casino and Hotel.

Usually with big events, parking sucks.. so meeting at the top.. there might not be room.. but I dunno.

ummm....9am-6pm. I assumed it would go later. I guess they close it when the concerts start. If we don't get there until 5pm that might be a little late.
